Privacy: Intentional Nights (GII)
We don't store your IP address, email, cookies or any device ID. We keep only your answers, your country, the questionnaire language and where you came from (for example a QR code). The time is rounded to the hour. You can answer without identifying yourself.
Version 1 · draft, not yet published
Who runs this. The Global Intentional Index is run by Beeri Tzori (TzoriGroup), through beeritzori.com. Questions: beeri@tzorigroup.com.
What we save. Only what you choose on the screen:
- who is answering (a parent, a teen or an adult)
- for parents: how many kids live at home, how many slept without a phone in the room, and, if you choose, their age ranges
- for teens and adults: where your phone slept
- where you think the phone should sleep
- your country as a two-letter code. We guess it from your connection, and you can change it.
- which night you're describing, and the hour we got your answer (rounded to the hour, UTC)
- the language and how you got here (for example, a QR code)
What we don't save. No name, email, IP address, device ID, cookies or exact time. No ads, analytics or social media pixels on these pages.
What we use for a moment. Your IP address is used briefly to guess your country and to limit floods of fake answers. For flood limits we scramble it with a key that changes every day and keep it only in memory, never on disk.
Cloudflare. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and the database. Its Turnstile check confirms that you're a person. To do this, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical browser details. Turnstile runs in its own frame and may store a small security entry (cf.turnstile.u) in your browser. It's Cloudflare's, and we can't read it. You can clear it in your browser settings. Cloudflare's rules: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.
What we publish. Only totals: a country's number appears once it has at least 10 answers. Never single answers.
Other sources. The index also counts street-interview answers (no names or faces in the data). A separate ZUZA app layer receives only national nightly totals from users who chose to share.
Children. Anyone can answer. We ask for nothing that identifies a child. If you're under 13, please answer with a parent.
Your choices. Answering is voluntary, and you can stop before you send. Answers are anonymous, so after you send we can't find, show or delete one.
How long. Anonymous answers are kept while the index runs, so we can show change over time.
Changes. If anything here changes, we'll update this page and its date first.
